Join Kate Walsh as she guides you through the process of making small-batch jam from scratch. Using a combination of local seasonal fruits and foraged indigenous plants and herbs, you’ll learn how to make delicious jam in three simple steps - preparing your jars, cooking the fruit and then bottling. We'll also cover how to make jam without using sugar and raw jams.
Class outline: Basics of jam, hands on jam making, afternoon tea with plenty of tastings. If we are lucky, we’ll get a visit from the farmer as well!
